Summary
This release makes audit logs more complete and easier to filter, tightens what project viewers and organization viewers can access, and makes it faster to switch between organizations.
Audit Logs Capture More and Filter Correctly
Project audit logs now record the organization they belong to, and the action filters match what you select.
- Failed deployments are recorded in the audit log, so you can see attempts that did not complete.
- Denied version uploads are shown and recorded.
- Searches by log ID are validated, and the application-logs toggle behaves as expected.
- Actions taken through CI and by environment members keep the correct attribution.
Project Access Matches Your Role
Viewers and organization viewers can no longer reach areas they are not meant to manage.
- Project viewers cannot open project settings or DevOps pages.
- Users without app edit access no longer see DevOps pages.
- Organization viewers cannot be given project editor or admin roles, or team maintainer roles.
- Changes to a project author's contributor role now save.
Easier Project Collaborator Management
Adding people to a project works the way you would expect.
- Collaborator search finds users.
- The member and team pickers are usable and load results page by page.
- The owner no longer appears in the role list, since their access is fixed.
Cloudflare Integrations Stay Connected
Cloudflare connections are more durable.
- Idle connections are refreshed daily, so they stay active between deploys.
- Connections that have expired can be reconnected without starting over.
- Editing an integration keeps its credentials current.
Two-Pane Organization Switcher
The organization switcher now shows a two-pane layout with your recently used organizations, so you can jump back to the one you were working in.
Smaller Improvements
- Team creation explains why a name is taken when a duplicate conflicts.
- The CI token notice wording matches the current token deprecation status.
- Emails use the hosted Zephyr wordmark, so the logo displays correctly.
- Ephemeral environments now follow the lifecycle of their pull request, and a pool of 20 reusable database branches is available.
What This Means for Teams
- Audit logs give a more complete and accurate record of who did what, including failed and denied actions.
- Project and organization roles are enforced more consistently, reducing accidental access.
- Adding collaborators and switching organizations takes fewer steps.
- Cloudflare integrations need less manual reconnecting.
