Product Update: Membership Domains, Billing Improvements, and Tag and Environment Controls

Summary

This release adds email-verified open membership domains, tightens billing and subscription accuracy, and improves how teams manage tags, environments, and pinned versions. A range of reliability and UI fixes are included across the dashboard.

Open Membership with Email Domain Verification

Organizations can now configure open membership domains so that anyone with a verified company email address can join automatically.

  • Members who join through an open domain are assigned the correct role without manual approval.
  • Organization admins can manage allowed domains from organization settings.
  • Role assignments also update automatically when seats are downgraded, so access levels stay consistent with your subscription without manual intervention.

Billing and Subscription Fixes

Several billing-related issues have been resolved to make subscription management more reliable.

  • Billing history now loads correctly.
  • Coupon discounts are applied consistently across the dashboard and email receipts.
  • Coupon removal now works as expected.
  • Payment method management has been improved with a clearer UI.

Tag and Environment Naming Improvements

Renaming tags and environments is more reliable, and a few edge cases have been resolved.

  • Tag and environment rename flows have been improved for accuracy and consistency.
  • Names as short as two characters are now accepted for both environments and tags.
  • Domain delimiter handling has been fixed to prevent formatting issues.

Email Notifications Now Show Environment Context

Notification emails for non-production deployments now include the environment name in the subject line, making it easier to identify which environment triggered an alert without opening the email.

Pinning and Navigation

  • Pinning a version now shows a confirmation toast so you can tell the action was applied.
  • Pin options are now paginated, improving performance when you have a large number of pinnable items.
  • The sidebar has been improved for better navigation across the dashboard.

Reliability Fixes

  • Manual deploys now correctly respect version ownership policy.
  • Retrying a failed deployment integration setup now properly re-runs the integration.
  • Duplicate floating error notifications have been resolved.
  • Usernames generated from email addresses now use the correct email part.
